I have been scrimming for over 35 years and will be displaying my work as well as others on this website. My work was sold through our Edgartown store and now is sold exclusively on the internet. My training is in the arts and art history and I hold a BFA degree in Art Education. Though most of the work is a little more detailed I will also display assorted jewelry. In the past part of my life (35 years) I was a scrimshaw artist selling from my shop in Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard. Now retired I spend some of my time and effort selling on auction sites and my web sites. All my original work includes a dated and signed Certificateof Authenticity. Please be aware that laws governing some ivorys are restrictive and I am not interested in circumventing the rules so please check before you purchase a piece that might be questionable. |
